Mr. Mohammadi is the Managing Member and Chief Investment Officer of Tessellation Capital Management, LLC. He initially began his career providing Transaction Advisory Services at a local business appraisal and valuation services firm in the Bay Area. During this time, he worked on a very broad mandate of assignments, ranging from US ‘GAAP’ financial reporting specializing in mergers and acquisitions for publicly traded companies across industry groups with a focus on Enterprise Software, as well financial accounting to private equity financial sponsors with a focus on middle market leverage buyouts. Majority of the financial sponsor leverage buyout transaction were in the $200mm to $500mm upper middle market segment, as well as a public-to-private leverage buyout (‘P2P’) in excess of $1.5bn in Enterprise Value. Following the 2009 Global Credit Crisis, Mr. Mohammadi left to pursue an entrepreneurial venture providing financial advisory and outsourced Investment Analyst services at SOM Capital Partners. During this time, he assisted senior management in a Management Buyout (‘MBO’)effort of a biotechnology wholly-owned subsidiary of a FTSE 100 publicly traded healthcare corporation. Following SOM Capital Management, Mr. Mohammadi spend several years working as a lead content creator at Capital Capable Media LLC, building an entire practitioner-oriented curriculum based on real world M&A and LBO case studies to prepare students pursuing careers in bulge bracket investment banking and tier one mega-cap private equity funds. Mr. Mohammadi is a graduate of San Jose State University and currently a Chartered FinancialAnalyst Level III candidate.
